Duct Balloons are made of a strong but lightweight material. The chart below is based on our lightest weight material which is ballistic nylon. Abrasion resistant nylon and high temperature materials rated to 500ºF (260ºC) weigh about twice these values. All weights listed below are based on our standard Duct Balloon thickness which is 3’0” (915mm).

Round or HRSG Exhaust Stack Balloons can be 3”0” (915mm), 4’0” (1219mm) or 5’0” (1524mm) thick. As the diameter of a round Duct Balloon becomes larger in diameter, the thickness also increases as shown below. Custom thickness are also available
